Intermediate Workshop

Have you joined us for a Taiko Hour, Beginner Workshop or have previous experience playing Taiko, and are ready to level-up your taiko skills?

During this Intermediate Workshop series, you will further progress your beta (flat stand) form, stance and striking technique. You will develop a basic understanding of the subdivision of the beat, and learn drills and exercises that improve your dexterity and rhythmic sensibilities. You will gain a deeper understanding of kuchi-shoga ("mouth singing"), and learn a new song that includes  choreography!

Previous taiko playing skill is required.
